Don Juan peered at me, and, in the tone and manner of someone making a painful revelation, he said that, for instance, the nagual Lujan received from the tenant a gift of fifty positions. He shook his head rhythmically, as if he were silently asking me to consider what he had just said. I kept quiet.
“Fifty positions!” he exclaimed in wonder. “For a gift, one or, at the most, two positions of the assemblage point should be more than adequate.”
He shrugged his shoulders, gesturing bewilderment.
Let’s take a little bridge-building walk from ancient sorcery to our current time…
Each of the fifty little balls on the sphere is a position of the assemblage point. The term ‘position of the assemblage point’ in modern language is called a perspective. These little balls show you fifty unique perspectives.
Imagine that your consciousness is in the middle of this sphere and that you are able to draw a line, a vector, to one of these little balls. This act means you will be perceiving with that unique energy perspective. You can then move this vector around to any of the other little balls. Doing so means that you are changing perspectives. This is a significant step in personal power as many people hold just one perspective for their whole adult life.
The animation starts with a sphere and then shows less and less connections to the perspectives until we end with no connections. Then, it turns around and builds the groupings back up to the full fifty positions.
If you watch the video several times and count down from nine to zero as the shapes change and then count back up, you’ll get a feel for the Humanity Gem. It’s fun and you’re now being challenged to give it a go.
The power of this gift can be felt when we take control of our perspective and begin to consciously move it. There are an infinite number of perspectives just like there are an infinite number of points on a sphere. And yet, these arcane fifty perspectives shown here are our guideposts. Find your way to the guideposts and you find your way to personal power.
